Queen Mary College, University of London Expedition to Nepal 1995: Kevin Mawdesley was the leader of this expedition to study a variety of monsoon related environmental processes in Nepal. Two of the research projects undertaken were pilot studies for later projects undertaken by The Royal Geographical Society, the research undertaken by the project leader provided the basis for a PhD thesis and the fourth project provided valuable data to resolve questions posed by a previous project.
